WAW99 ~ The Lord is God ~

Welcome!  It's time for another fabulous challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  Check out the WAW site for all the details including this week's digital scripture image, how to link your creation AND info on our fabulous prizes!

A special thank you to both My Craft Spot By Kimberly and Deedee's Digis for providing prizes for this week's challenge!

This week we feature Psalm 100:3 and a wonderful image from one of our sponsors, Deedee's Digis...

This week, I chose a scarecrow digi for my focal panel using a sketch for the design.  A double layer of matting (kraft and dark brown) make up the base.  I used coordinating designer papers for the main layer and two perpendicular coordinating DP strips under the image.  I created a double bow with twine and crinkled yellow seem binding and added a dark brown button.  This accents the focal scripture at the bottom.  Thanks for looking!  I pray you are having a wonderful week!

  Blessings...

What a darling card. Not sure that scarecrow is going to keep the crows out of the cornfield or the sunflowers though, it's too cute! (ha!) Love the sketch and your coloring, too.

Darling card, Lori! I *love* that wonderful ribbon treatment and the fun way you placed the Scripture so that it really pops out from the card. Thanks to you and your team for having me this week, and for showcasing the digis so beautifully! :-)

Surprise!!! It's Best Bunny!

There is something about Granny Apple Green that just brings a smile to my face!  When the first signs of Spring appear you are sure to see...
